This crew was one of the first crews that started 644 squadron Mar/44. They had completed 28 operations before ditching on return from Norway. Air/Sea rescue crews from 644 & 298 plus other Squadrons on 38 group continued for several days to find them but we searched in vain. Missing crew commemorated at Royal air Force Runnymede Memorial in Surrey England.
