Update: We decided, because the Halifax aircraft flown by Alex Turnbull on April 23rd 1945 and the subsequent loss due to enemy ground fire, to add these pictures. This aircraft 2P-X-Xray was from 644 squadron and was ditched in a Lake Mjosa in Norway. A Bomber Command Group in Canada financed the recovery and transporting of the remains to Trenton Ontario for restoration by a large group of volunteers. After several years on November 5th, 2005 the unveiling took place. A few pictures of Barr and crew are also included. This aircraft is now at the National Air Force Museum of Canada. It can be visited during museum hours. The Museum’s Web-Site is www.airforcemuseum.ca
